What I've been up to lately

As I said before, my computer was on the brink...so I couldn't update ANYTHING! Here ares some logos that I finished...I have to say that LilyBelle is my favorite logo, and I know she loved it as well. Mooce Baby, JJ Craftworks, and Dangles all have etsy shops, so check them out!!!

I am also working on an invitation line for bridal showers, baby showers, weddings and formal parties. More of that to come.

A slight delay...

As luck would have it, once I started this business my computer broke...maybe it was overworked :) Anyway, will have new posts once my computer is up and going again!

Why I didn't think of this sooner...

I don't know. I find it hard to update my personal blog because I just don't have a lot going on right now (I have a baby on the way, so that may change soon...) But, one thing I have to do everyday is create. I don't have any vices (...or does pepsi count?), I have a very calm personality, and I deal with things internally, so it only makes sense that I would need some creative outlet. My husband is the only one that has seen any of my designs/projects and he really encouraged me to let others see what I can do. My first post will be of business card design I created for myself, since I LOVE it:

I originally designed a bunch of scrapbook paper designs with these elements for a scrapbook I'm making of my pregnancy/first year for my baby. I loved the flower so much, I had to use it again. I will be selling this scrapbook line in my etsy store very shortly. I just need to add some more embellishments to the set. I really like symmetry, so that is why I always turn toward square business cards and invitations...plus, it's a great way to stand out!
